Thursday-Sunday my husband, his family and I will be heading to Disney to take part in the 2011 Disney race weekend. My mother-in-law, youngest sister-in-law, youngest brother-in-law and I will be running in the 5k on Friday. My husband, father-in-law, sister-in-law and her husband will be running in the 1/2 marathon on Saturday. We are all very excited about the run and can't wait to post pictures after.
This race benefits the leukemia/lymphoma society so I will be running for Joey. Joey is a little boy at my church with leukemia. He is 9 years old and lights up a room with his smile. I will be wearing a shirt in honor of Joey at the race.
