It has been a long few months so I have posted.  First off we didn't have a computer for awhile but that has changed since receiving a new macbook pro for Christmas!  Here is what has been happening in our life. A few weeks ago a very good friend of my had a miscarriage.  My heart just breaks for her and her husband.  Miscarriage is ugly, horrible and just really sucks! No one should ever have to go through it. I am a big fan of the Southeastern Guide Dog organization.  We have Blossom because of them because she went throught the puppy training but didn't make it because of her hips.  So many of our church friends are puppy trainers which is just amazing what they do.  These puppies are changing the lives of so many people.

Body Glide I love this stuff and think it is one of the best inventions ever.  I use it on the bottom of my feet and heals to help prevent blisters when I'm running.  I also use it when I wear dress shoes and it works like a charm every time.  I give it two thumbs up :-)

Matt and I have really gotten into races.  Matt's ultimate goal is to run in an ultra marathon, but for now is sticking with 10K and 1/2 marathon races.  I have gotten into running because of Matt's job and his interest in running.  Although I am still stuggling with finding "the zone" and the joy of running, I do like the benefit of weight loss that has come from it. My first Disney race was a success. We got up at 3:00am to catch a bus at 4:00. Once down in the lobby we were starting to get concerned that we were the only ones waiting for the buses. I saw this video on a friend's bolg and wanted to share it on mine. 1 in 4 pregnancies end in a miscarriage so it is more common than people realize. For those that have been lucky enough to not experience a miscarriage it is difficult for them to understand what someone is going through. For our anniversary present Matt and I decided to buy a treadmill.  Matt has been running since January but I still don't understand the joy of running.  All of the Hitchcock's are going to be running in one of the Disney races in January.  I started to do the couch to 5K plan about 12 weeks ago.  I ran my first 5k on December 10th and ran my fastest time of 45:00.  I was able to cut 3:20 from my
